Maybe the game isn’t for everyone and some are even craving the Ghost of Tsushima sequel as they play Rise of the Ronin. Sadly, however they have to will have to wait for the next installment as it isn’t likely that the game will arrive this year. That doesn’t necessarily make Team Ninja’s ambitious project a bad game.

It wasn’t an easy feat for the developers to create such a game. From in-depth research surrounding the history, to setting up the narrative, they came a long way. It also kind of challenges FromSoftware’s Elden Ring in some aspects, but it still has a lot to accomplish if we are to compare both.

Sales figures aren’t very juicy for the game but it recently managed to shift an additional 20K copies in Japan, bringing the tally to 85K units sold in the country. We don’t know how it will perform in the months to come but it can be speculated that these positive sentiments could attract more players flocking in to add to their gaming shelves.
