While speaking during a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Robert Downey Jr. admitted that he had to take a Beta Blocker because he was panicking during the Golden Globe Awards ceremony.
”Yes direct quote was I just dropped a Beta Blocker so this will be a breeze. I should’ve gotten some omega in this, that was a billion-dollar moment, it just went right by me. It just kinda takes the edge off and it worked a treat. I think if you feel like you might panic if your name gets called. Do you know what it’s like when you’re nomiated to a Golden Globe?”

Robert Downey Jr. Won’t Be Coming Back As Iron Man In The MCU Again
Recently, rumors circulated about Robert Downey Jr. making a comeback to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige clarified the situation in an interview with Vanity Fair, stating that there are no plans for Downey Jr. to return to the MCU.
“We are going to keep that moment and not touch that moment again. We all worked very hard for many years to get to that, and we would never want to magically undo it in any way.”
Robert Downey Jr. had a terrific 2023 thanks to his incredible role in Oppenheimer, where he had an Oscar-worthy performance. It remains to be seen whether the former MCU star will end up winning an Oscar this year as he already won a Golden Globe award.
