It looks like Swift became a fan of the 2022 DC film The Batman starring Robert Pattinson and Zoe Kravitz. New reports are circulating about how it has recently been revealed that she has incorporated elements of the film into a brand new music video that she has shot.
Taylor Swift Takes A Break From Touring To Make A Music Video
The Sun has reported that Taylor Swift was in the UK while amid of her Eras tour in the USA. The magazine’s sources have revealed that she jetted off to Liverpool to film a previously unseen music video that was inspired by Robert Pattinson’s The Batman movie. Here’s what the outlet is reporting:
“She spent 48 hours there last week, shooting at Scouse land-marks St George’s Hall and the Cunard Building… Taylor was inspired by Robert Pattinson’s 2022 movie The Batman, which also features the same famous buildings… Taylor loves the history of the landmarks and was excited to film somewhere completely different and unexpected.”
The site also revealed that actress Joey King, who is a rising star in Hollywood, was on the set of the shoot. However, this isn’t the first time the singer is working with the actress. King appeared as a child in the 2010 hit song Mean. The magazine reports that “Taylor loves a throwback, and is excited to celebrate Joey as her acting career has flourished.” Regarding the surprise shoot, the outlet printed:
“She had a break in her touring schedule so decided to use the time to get another video in the bag. She’s feeling more creative and inspired than ever… Her shoot was an incredibly slick operation, with little fuss. Staff on site were politely asked not to have their phones on them and to sign non-disclosure agreements.”
But this isn’t the only thing that Taylor Swift has been in the news for. It was revealed that the pop star has recently broken up with her longtime boyfriend Joe Alwyn.

ET reported that Taylor Swift and her boyfriend of six years, Joe Alwyn, called it quits a few weeks ago. The site reported that the breakup was amicable and there weren’t any hard feelings. The outlet said that the split was because “the relationship had just run its course. It’s why [Alwyn] hasn’t been spotted at any shows.” The pop star will head to Tampa, Florida next for her performance.
This report came as a surprise because ET reported in October 2022 that the couple was in a great place in their relationship and were super strong together. The two of them have also been notoriously private about their relationship. In a 2018 interview with British Vogue, Alwyn said:
“I’m aware people want to know about that side of things. I think we have been successfully very private, and that has now sunk in for people.”
It’s alleged that the song Gorgeous in her Reputation album is about Alwyn. Swift’s boyfriend is also credited on the Midnights album for the Sweet Nothing track. He has also contributed to the Folklore and Evermore albums. Official confirmation for the split is awaited from either Taylor Swift or Joe Alwyn.
