Who is Reed Richards?

Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, Reed Richards, a superhero, scientist, and inventor, is regarded as one of the most intelligent creatures in Marvel comic books. He is an expert in all branches of science, including physics, electronics, biology, chemistry, mechanical, electrical, and aerospace engineering.

Richards was subjected to high doses of cosmic radiation along with his closest friend Ben Grimm, then-girlfriend Sue Storm, and her younger brother Johnny Storm while traveling through space in the rocket, the Marvel-1. The radiation changed him and his friends, giving him the power to bend and sculpt his body in any way he chose. That’s how these four made up the Fantastic Four together.
