Seth Rogen Stands By His Decision To Not Have Kids
People tend to have a range of different views about parenthood. Seth Rogen decided to follow a unique lifestyle and does not want to have kids altogether. Talking about his decision, the actor gave a very valid answer and how the decision ended up helping his acting career.

In an interview, the Superbad actor talked about his experience. Stating that he simply did not want to take care of another human being, Rogen admitted that life was easier this way. The clip, taken from The Diary of a CEO interview, showcased Seth Rogen and the interviewer laughing while talking about their personal opinions.
“I do not [have kids]. That has helped me succeed as well. Definitely. There’s a whole huge thing I’m not doing…which is raising children [laughs]. I don’t think it would [make me happier].”
He further continued,
“Some people want kids, some people don’t want kids. I mean a lot of people have kids before they even think about it. From what I have seen, honestly, you are just told ‘you go through life, you get married, you have kids, it’s what happens.’ And me and my wife we’re just…neither of us were like that”.
Seth Rogen further stated that with age, the couple has only gotten more determined about their decision. Sharing several hilarious stories, the comedian mentioned in a different interview how they used to argue with people on the internet until they were told by Sony Executives to act otherwise!
Seth Rogen Used To Argue With People And Called Them “Nerds”
Back in 2011 when Seth Rogen had just joined social media, the actor was working on the film The Green Hornet. While making the movie, several people took to IMDB to complain about the adaptation. Talking about the event, Seth Rogen sat down with Jimmy Kimmel on Jimmy Kimmel Live to reveal how he used to troll people.
”I joined the Internet pretty late, it was when we were making the movie ‘Green Hornet.’ The reason being, Evan my writing partner, we would go on IMDb and on the message boards, there are always these nerds who really got mad we were making the Green Hornet.”
He further continued,
“We would go on the message boards to argue with them, like, ‘Screw you nerd!’ We didn’t realize that we were using our actual names. Then someone from Sony is like, ‘Are you arguing with nerds on the IMDb message boards?’ I’m like, ‘How did you know that?’ They were like, ‘It literally says Seth Rogen.”
Whatever the case may be, there is no doubt that Rogen has indeed had an impact on comedy in Hollywood. The comedian is currently associated with 10 upcoming projects in various stages of development!
