Simu Liu Says Shang Chi 2 Keeps Getting Pushed Back
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings was a fresh entry in the MCU and introduced audiences to a new and exciting hero in the form of Simu Liu’s Shang-Chi. Since then, fans have been wondering when a sequel is gonna happen that was teased at the end of the film.
Recently Liu provided a rather sad update saying that the sequel keeps getting pushed as the release schedule of all MCU films keeps shifting. He said (via The Hollywood Reporter),
“Was told it would follow Avengers. But that keeps pushing back due to circumstances beyond my control.”
It remains to be seen when the MCU officially announces the sequel to the hit 2021 film. The character is expected to play a major role in the future of the franchise and fans believe the character will be back in one of the upcoming MCU films before the sequel.
