Filming intimate sequences is one of the most challenging aspects for the stars. Often we have seen stars having some of the weirdest experiences filming these s*x scenes. Something similar also happened with Robert Pattinson when he worked alongside Julianne Moore in 2014’s Maps to the Stars. The Batman fame had a very bad time on the set after things didn’t turn out as intended and he felt he was embarrassing himself in front of the Oscar-winning actress.

Robert Pattinson is one of the names who has frequently questioned the need for s*x scenes in projects. Even though he has also been a part of the game in his films, the Twilight star has never been a fan of those. After all that, the experience he had with Julianne Moore only elevated his distaste for on-screen lovemaking.

Maps to the Stars directed by David Cronenberg featured a wide range of stars such as John Cusack, Robert Pattinson, Julianne Moore, and Mia Wasikowska.

The film was a dream project for the Tenet actor as he got a chance to share the screen with one of his most respected and admired actresses. But it didn’t take long before the incident also turned out to be one of his most embarrassing situations. Robert Pattinson thought that he embarrassed himself after the actress even asked if he was alright while filming the s*x scene.

Precisely, it was extremely hot in Toronto where the David Cronenberg film was being shot. While Pattinson considered himself a very sweaty soul, the 62-year-old Moore didn’t sweat at all. This led to an awkward situation between the two and after some moments, Julianne Moore was afraid that the lovemaking scene was giving the Edward Cullen fame a panic attack.

“That was the first time I’d met Julianne as well. It was so hot in Toronto, and she’s one of these people … she doesn’t sweat at all. But I sweat like a crazy person. And I was trying to literally catch drops of sweat from hitting her back. It was so embarrassing. Afterwards she was like, ‘Are you OK? Are you having a panic attack?’ It was so embarrassing,”

It is not the first time, Robert Pattinson has spoken about a s*x scene from his movies. Earlier he also called his lovemaking scene with Kristen Stewart “ridiculous” in Breaking Dawn. He had always found intimate scenes to be stupid. On the other hand, Julianne Moore found Pattinson to be loveliest and had a very different perspective on the whole incident.

Julianne Moore had a completely contrasting image of the incident that gave Pattinson one of his most embarrassing situations. Rather the Hannibal actress praised the 37-year-old actor to be one of the loveliest stars in an interview with E News.

“He is the loveliest guy. I have to say, he completely surprised me. He’s totally unlike his affect, which I thought was very serious. I met him, he was really funny and chatty and easy and nice. We had a great time.”

According to Moore, she expected Robert Pattinson to be a more serious personality than she experienced on the sets of Maps to the Stars. Further, when asked about the steamy sequence, Julianne Moore claimed that she didn’t mind anything as the situation there was hot in so many ways- “It was hot back there, though. In more ways than one.”
