Cara Delevingne’s Parents Say She Was Devastated By The Loss Of Her Home
Cara Delevingne is yet to give a statement regarding the incident at her Studio Lane house as she is set to perform at London’s West End on a production of Cabaret. While she opened in London, her parents stated to TMZ that she was devastated by the destruction of her house as she had built it with love and care. Her mother mentioned,
“I think she’s probably devastated. She had everything in her home. Her whole life.”
While the investigation for the cause behind the fire was ongoing, Delevingne’s father mentioned that it was probably ‘electrical’ and was due to ‘something falling on a powerline’. Delevingne’s almost 6,000-square-foot apartment at Studio Lane in LA was one of her most prized possessions.
In a video with Architectural Digest, Cara Delevingne had once given a tour of the house that she had designed along with architect Nicolo Bini. The house had a David Bowie shrine, a secret tunnel for Delevingne to think, and brightened interiors. Cara Delevingne spoke about her love for the house in the video and how she loved spending time at the place,
“This house is one of my favorite places to be. It’s kind of like an adult playhouse. I like to call it…Hugh Hefner is a big inspiration for this house. You know, this kind of feels like my Playboy mansion. I was very lucky to work with my architect, Nicoló Bini, who I worked with on the last house. He made all of my mad, crazy ideas, which, you know, some things I thought he would say, ‘We can’t do that,’ or ‘That’s kind of crazy’. But, he made all of them come to life.”
Delevingne seemed to have poured her life into her $7 million mansion on Studio Lane, which now stands destroyed after the devastating fire.
