Meghan Markle is not ready to move on from her conflict with The Royals, despite Middleton addressing the public about her cancer diagnosis after facing a series of controversies following her abdominal surgery. Markle was shocked to hear the news of the Princess’ health, but she was not in a hurry to fix her relationship anytime soon.
Meghan Markle Is Not In A Hurry To Fix Her Relationship With Kate Middleton
Suits alum and Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle is reportedly shocked by the news of Kate Middleton’s cancer diagnosis and wished her a full recovery, but she was far from mending things with her sister-in-law. A royal insider exclusively told OK! Magazine that Markle is still holding a grudge against the Royals. Also, she is concerned about her husband, Harry, attempting to reunite with his family, worrying that he might end up getting hurt again.
“Meghan knows she is facing a losing battle when it comes to Harry reaching out to Kate and William to try and sort through their differences, but she thinks he’s making a big mistake. She obviously feels sympathy for Kate and what she’s going through, but in her mind, it doesn’t change things,” the source told the magazine.
Royal expert, Richard Fitzwilliams, recently said that Catherine’s diagnosis may end the huge family rift, sharing, “With Catherine and the King’s illness — that is an enormous game changer even when there are deep family rifts.” However, the source claimed that Markle’s wound of the past has not healed yet.
“She wants her to make a full recovery and for the family to all be ok but four years on from leaving and she’s still upset by it all and can never fully forgive the royals for what they put her and Harry through and have never apologised.”
Judging by the claims of the source, it is fair to assume that it is quite a hard task for Markle to move on from the past pain, despite her husband’s positive approach to mending things with his family.
Meghan Markle Would Not Mind Staying Away From Kate Middleton And Prince William
Markle would not mind if she never saw Middleton and Prince William again. “It would never bother Meghan if she didn’t see William and Kate again,” the source told OK! Sadly, she knows that there is “no relationship between her children and George, Charlotte and Louis. She would’ve loved that to happen but the Waleses have made it clear they don’t want it,” the source added.
“But she knows deep down that Harry wants to fix the relationship and the Kate news has made him more determined to try and do it. But she thinks Harry is being naïve and that he still can’t trust William. She’s terrified he’ll be made a fool of again and William will use him. She knows she makes better decisions than Harry as she won’t let her emotions rule her, but she fears she’s losing control over this situation.”
Further, per the insider, the reconciliation with the Royals from her husband Harry might end up hurting him more. “She feels William has made it clear that he doesn’t want a reconciliation and hasn’t made any effort,” the source continued. He could have “quite easily made time for Harry when he’s been in the UK,” they added. Also, given the current scenario, it is unlikely that they will patch things up shortly, and Markle is quite critical about it as well.
