It’s been a while since the rumor of Taylor Swift making an appearance in Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool 3 started circulating online, and it seems there is some grain of truth in it. The speculation is that the Grammy-winning singer will assume the role of Dazzler in the famed superhero franchise.
After Swift was spotted with Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman attending the New York Jets vs Kansas City Chiefs NFL regular season game, the possibility of her joining the band became even more likely.
Taylor Swift’s Involvement In Deadpool 3 Seemingly Confirmed
In an interview with Deadpool 3 director Shawn Levy via The Wrap, he responded to the words of Taylor Swift, making a cameo in the upcoming movie:
“I’m going across the board. ‘No comment’ because that’s a double whammy. That’s Taylor-related. And it’s MCU-related. I’m no dummy. You’re going to have to wait and see.”
He also told Entertainment Weekly that some of the rumored cameos are true and some are not. However, he refused to confirm or deny any of the reports.
“The rumors of actors, singers, sports stars who are all apparently in Deadpool 3 are fabulous. If all I read was the internet, I would have the greatest cast ever assembled in the history of cinema, so I’ll simply say that some of those rumors are true, and some of them aren’t.”
On the other hand, Ryan Reynolds spoke with Vancouver Sun and gave a really cryptic answer to the speculation:
“I love it, I think it is a sign of how eager people are to get a peek behind the curtain in this world. Every single one of these secrets and spoilers will be revealed on July 26.”
The news about Taylor Swift joining Deadpool 3 as Dazzler was also the time the movie was going through its final reshoots, which suggests it would be the perfect opportunity for the Anti-Hero singer to film her scenes. Let’s also not forget that she has been hanging out with the main cast of Deadpool 3.
A post from Marvel Updates seemingly confirmed that Swift will truly have a contribution to the movie as she will reportedly write a track for Deadpool 3.

What To Expect In Deadpool 3
As everyone already knows, Hugh Jackman will reprise his role as Wolverine in Deadpool 3 despite his retirement in 2017’s Logan. Other cast members joining the film include The Crown’s Emma Corrin, who will portray a major villain, and Succession’s Matthew Macfadyen as a companion of Deadpool and Wolverine.
Returning actors include Morena Baccarin, Stefan Kapicic, Brianna Hildebrand, and Shioli Kutsuna. As the plot details remain a mystery, it is only known that the story will be set in a multiverse setting. Of course, it’s not a Deadpool movie if it’s not rated R.
