Being as successful as she is, it is no surprise that Brosnahan is in high demand as an actress, especially now that she will be at the center of the DC Universe. It would seem that the creators of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel are looking to cast the actress in their new project. Unfortunately for Brosnahan, they do not care about her casting as Lois Lane and will not be taking no for an answer.

The Creators of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Want Rachel Brosnahan Back

Rachel Brosnahan’s iconic Prime Video series, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, has helped her make a name for herself as a magnificent actress. The series released its first season in 2017, coming to a climactic and emotional conclusion in 2023. Since its end, the actress has moved on to other projects, diving headfirst into the DC Universe after being cast as Lois Lane alongside David Corenswet‘s Superman.

Despite working on bigger projects, it seems that Brosnahan’s connections and relationships on the Prime Video series are not done with her just yet. The creators of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Amy Sherman-Palladino and Dan Palladino, are working on a new ballet-centered drama called Étoile.

The cast of the series is already said to feature some actors from their past work, including Luke Kirby and Gideon Glick. It would seem that the Palladinos are also set on Brosnahan making an appearance in this.

Rachel Brosnahan Has No Choice In The Matter

Amy Sherman-Palladino spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about her upcoming project, Étoile. Here, she also spoke on whether Rachel Brosnahan would be a part of the project, now that she is busy working on Superman: Legacy, one of the biggest DC films in recent times. The writer stated that if the actress thinks that she has any chance of outrunning being a part of the series, she is very much mistaken.

“If Rachel thinks Lois Lane is going to get her away from me, she’s incredibly naïve,” Sherman-Palladino said. “I’ll grab her ass and drag her back.”

Calling her naive, Sherman-Palladino stated that Brosnahan will have to be a part of the ballet-drama series, regardless of whether she has prior commitments to other projects. She also added that if the Lois Lane actress refuses to join the series, she will be dragged back to make an appearance.
