Maridueña’s humorous response to the meme brought attention to the problem of media portrayal. People of color are frequently omitted from photographs, especially when they are posing next to more well-known individuals. This might be considered a sort of microaggression that feeds into unfavorable assumptions about persons of color. Xolo Maridueña, on the other hand, is a rising star in Hollywood and is certain to achieve great things in the future.
