Captain America: Brave New World first teaser is finally out and Kevin Feige has finally acknowledged one thing in the film. Sersi and her fellow immortal beings stopped the emergence of Tiamut in the 2021 film Eternals. However, Tiamut’s head and left hand had partially arisen out of the ocean, leaving a weird-looking structure in the ocean.

MCU has an overwhelming number of movies and TV series that fans have been complaining recently about the new movies ignoring the events of past movies. After the release of the 2021 movie Eternals, the MCU seems to have forgotten about them altogether. In the climax of the film, the team stopped the emergence of Tiamut who could have destroyed the entire earth.

The giant remains of Tiamut sticking out of the ocean should’ve gained a lot more attention from the other heroes in the MCU. However, the studio chose to completely ignore this development until now. In the new teaser for Captain America: Brave New World, fans got a glimpse of Tiamut’s remains when Anthony Mackie‘s Sam Wilson flew over what appeared to be a mountain in the ocean.

Fans are relieved that Kevin Feige and the Marvel Studios are listening to at least some of their concerns regarding the films. One fan shared that the appearance of Tiamut’s remains indicates that the Eternals still mattered in this universe. One fan shared an earlier tweet mentioning the issue and wrote that Marvel may have seen the tweet.

One fan shared that it took several projects for the MCU to finally recognize a Celestial chilling in the ocean. Another fan mentioned that fans could finally stop the complaints and memes about the franchise ignoring Eternals altogether. Some of the fan reactions read:

In Eternals, it was shown that the United Nations called for an emergency meeting to discuss what happened. Interestingly, an Easter Egg was also included in She-Hulk that referenced Tiamut’s remains. An online article continued to question the formation of a statue of a man in the ocean.

Anthony Mackie and Harrison Ford star in Captain America: Brave New World, which explores Sam Wilson adjusting to both his new status and the new world order. The film’s trailer almost reminds fans of Captain America: The Winter Soldier, which was something Kevin Feige had promised.

Ford’s General Ross has been elected President of the United States and wants to bring Wilson’s Captain America aboard in an official military position. It appears that Ford will also take on the character of Red Hulk (a brief glimpse was shown at the end of the teaser) who will go head to head with the new cap.

According to the plot of the film, Wilson works to uncover a nefarious global plot and tackle it before “the true mastermind has the entire world seeing red” (via Walt Disney Company).

Captain America: Brave New World is scheduled to be released in theaters on February 14, 2025.
