While an official trailer is still due, the Sony-led franchise has allowed fans a peek into the latest detail of the sequel, the logo. Venom 3 was originally scheduled for July 12, 2024, but is now seeing a premiere date of November 8, 2024, since filming presumed following the writers’ and actors’ strikes. After Sony wrapped up its The Amazing Spider-Man franchise, the Venom film series has kept Sony’s Spider-Man Universe relevant.

Therefore, there are high chances of Andrew Garfield returning in the third Venom installment, as a long-awaited face-off between Tom Hardy’s Venom and Spider-Man remains. Speaking of the logo, a post on X by Screen Time shared it with Venom fans. The design seemed sketched out and the positioning of the three greatly resembles David Fincher’s Alien 3 logo.

Venom 3 will be the last installment of the franchise, leaving Tom Hardy to fend for his future associations in the superhero world. 2018’s Venom became the seventh-highest-grossing film of that year, earning $856 million, and 2021’s Venom: Let There be Carnage grossed $501 million worldwide, despite the pandemic, per The Numbers. Given the successful history of Venom films, the third and final installment also holds a box-office-breaking potential. It is probably the last time fans will see the spotlight on Hardy’s Eddie Brock, but we never know.

Marvel’s attempt to correlate the two universes by teasing Hardy’s Venom around the end of 2021’s No Way Home, before Doctor Strange cast his spell to send everyone back to their original universes, drove expectations of a possible Venom feature in MCU’s future projects. Until then, Venom fans need to satiate their thirst for details with the flashy logo.
