How Will the New Jackie Chan-Karate Kid Movie Delight Cobra Kai Fans?

The announcement of the new movie last year left much speculation regarding its plot. Sony initially hinted at its place within the Cobra Kai and OG franchise’s universe without offering concrete details. However, most excitingly the recent video announcement confirms its incorporation into that universe.

Assumptions suggest the film will most likely follow the conclusion of Cobra Kai’s final season, currently in production. The even more exciting news as per Gizmodo, is the creators of Cobra Kai, Jon Hurwitz, Josh Heald, and Hayden Schlossberg, even though not directly involved in the movie, have been part of the developmental process.

Furthermore, as per a source close to the project also claimed that the Cobra Kai team has been involved in reviewing and providing feedback on various script versions.

It is also being reported that Sony Pictures Television, the producer of Cobra Kai, and Sony Pictures, which is handling this movie, have collaborated closely. This collaboration is indeed going to be a great one, fans are excited.
