Ridley Scott’s Apple TV+ Series – Sinking Spring

Sinking Spring has been making headlines in the past for spending $50 million in two weeks for the production of its pilot episode. Ridley Scott, the executive producer of the series, has rented out an entire town to film the Apple TV+ series. Sinking Spring focuses on the story of a group of friends in Philadelphia who fake their identity as DEA agents to rob a countryside house. But this is just the beginning, as the group of friends will eventually unravel the biggest hidden narcotics corridor on the Eastern seaboard. The eight-episode series was created by Peter Craig based on the book, Dope Thief by Dennis Tafoya.

The series cast Brian Tyree Henry as the central character named Ray and Michael Mando as Manny Cespedes, at least it initially did. After the onset fight, the makers went to all the trouble to cast someone else to play the role of Manny Cespedes. And now the makers have finally decided to onboard Wagner Moura to replace Mando. Wagner Moura is best known for his performance in Narcos. The Brazilian star is all set to feature in the drama series created by the Top Gun: Maverick writer.
