A few months back, there were strong rumors about the release of Xbox-exclusive games on other platforms, such as the PS5. The launch of Sea of Thieves, Hi-Fi Rush, and other first-party titles on the Sony console confirmed this.
However, rumors are circulating that Starfield and Elder Scrolls: Blade will eventually also come to PlayStation 5. A well-known gaming insider on X/Twitter, who even disclosed the job offer on LinkedIn, made this discovery and added that this idea of making the game multiplatform existed before the Microsoft acquisition.
Starfield Is Seemingly All but Confirmed for PlayStation 5
The rumors that Xbox will launch its exclusive titles on PlayStation 5 made some fans furious a couple of months ago. After the rumors became stronger, Phil Spencer had to speak about it and clarify that only four titles would reach the Sony console.
But the doubts never disappeared completely, and Phil Spencer has made weird declarations about the meaning of exclusive IPs. The four games chosen for release on other platforms were Hi-Fi Rush, Sea of Thieves, Pentiment, and Grounded.

Naturally, PlayStation fans eagerly anticipated the arrival of titles such as Gears of War or even Halo on their console. Rumors kept spreading, and thanks to new information, the idea of Starfield reaching the Sony console is not so wild, but these new details are not very encouraging for fans and they think it’s only a matter of time before other titles come to PlayStation and other platforms.
Starfield and ES: Blade Were Coming to PlayStation at One Point
This information was revealed by X/Twitter insider Timur222, who even shared a post with the whole job offer that required the developer to work on Starfield for the PlayStation 5 version and Blade. Bethesda Montreal was the studio behind these projects.
The job offer was for a 3D artist to work on robots, the environment, and many other important aspects of the space exploration title, which is currently exclusive. Many users replied and quickly noticed that this offer was posted before the Bethesda acquisition from Microsoft.
This confirmed that the studio has been thinking about launching the game on PlayStation since the beginning. In the future, if Microsoft wants to release the game on another console, the job will not be difficult, but there is no indication of this possibility happening anytime soon.
Other leaks and rumors indicate that Bethesda will release Indiana Jones and the upcoming ES6 on PlayStation. The sales of the Microsoft gaming console have not been so good in the last couple of years, so this strategy could be the only way to make better sales. The company is considering every scenario to make the brand grow and be more profitable than ever.
