Games like Elden Ring and Dark Souls, and even games like Baldur’s Gate 3, do not get popular just like that. They became popular thanks to their incredible fanbase. People all over the world are playing these games day and night and then informing their friends how good these games are just so those fans can experience these incredible games too.

What makes soulslike titles even more popular, though, are those special players who do incredible things in them. Completing a game without leveling up, completing a game a particular number of times. And sometimes, like Let Me Solo Her, they take it upon themselves to defeat a particularly hard enemy for other gamers, and then there are people who try something even more insane.

The Elden Ring player is currently on an incredibly impossible no-hit playthrough

Everyone knows who Let Me Solo Her is; he is one of those gamers who goes beyond mastering a game. His name suggests how much of an expert he is when it comes to Elden Ring. With his name, he literally asks players to let him beat Malenia, one of the hardest bosses in the game, all alone.

If that was not enough, he did all that by wearing no armor on his character’s body and wearing a pot helmet. The guy uses twin katanas as his weapons and just goes crazy on Malenia. And there’s no doubt about the fact that to see him work this hard as nails boss is a glorious experience.

Ever since the game’s launch, he has defeated her around 6,000–7,000 times. He became so popular for his deeds that his work was even recognized by the publisher of Elden Ring Bandao Namco. They sent him a replica of one of the swords featured in the game to congratulate him on his achievements.

Recently, he announced that once the DLC is launched, he will be taking a respite from this Malenia killing spree. He would then move on to the Shadow of the Erdtree and defeat hard enemies there, and who knows, maybe he would find a new archenemy in that DLC?

Yes, he is indeed very popular. But there are numerous other players in this field who are waiting for their own chance in the limelight. One such player is the owner of a YouTuber called Arfadoz. And this guy is as insane as Let Me Solo Her.

He has announced on his channel that until the launch of this upcoming DLC, he would fight Godfrey every day. And he would do that without getting hit even a single time. And from the video that he has posted, it seems he can do it pretty effectively. The guy dodges Godfrey’s attacks and dances around the Elden lord in such a way that it seems he might just be invincible.

For those unaware, Godfrey is a very quick boss; he fights quite aggressively. Especially in his second phase, the guy simply becomes an animal and fights like a WWE champion. He even grabs the player and smashes them into the ground. Arfadoz invades all these attacks with expertise. It’s his 53rd day right now, and he has months to go. Here’s hoping this brave soul succeeds in doing what he has set out to do.

It looks like doing Shadow of the Erdtree bosses solo would not be so easy

Shadow of the Erdtree will be FromSoftware's biggest DLC to date

While gamers everywhere are doing such things, one might say they are making it look easy. But from a recent interview with director Hidetaka Miyazaki, it appears that this upcoming DLC might be harder. It would simply wash away any need for players to grind and level up. They would be required to explore, beat the bosses, and earn attack power to get more powerful.

This means if players are not playing it correctly, they would find it quite hard to even harm one of these new bosses in Shadow of the Erdtree. In the meantime, let’s see if Aefadoz manages to succeed in his endeavor or not.
