Megan Fox parting from her role in the Transformers franchise was not something the world was ready for, but it was something the world had to come to terms with. While it had been news no one had expected, there was nothing that could be done about it. However, what was even more peculiar was that it was not Michael Bay’s idea to fire the actress in the first place.

Had it not been for Steven Spielberg being uncomfortable with the comments the actress made about the director, there could have been a big chance she would have stayed in the franchise. Neither Bay nor Fox was very keen on working with each other and was glad to have parted ways.

Megan Fox Compared Michael Bay To Hitler

When Megan Fox was asked about her experience as to working with Michael Bay. She was conflicted about whether or not she enjoyed working with him or hated the time period altogether. Although she divided his personality into two; one being Bay while he was working as a director and one as he was outside of his work.

“He’s like Napoleon and he wants to create this insane, infamous mad man reputation. He wants to be like Hitler on his sets, and he is. So he’s a nightmare to work for but when you get him away from set, and he’s not in director mode, I kind of really enjoy his personality because he’s so awkward, so hopelessly awkward. He has no social skills at all.”

It was how she compared him that really brought things to light. Megan Fox referred to Michael Bay as Hitler while he was filming Transformers. Although she also compared him to Napoleon, it was how he would often sexualize her and ask her to only look beautiful on the sets instead of actually asking her to be an actor. The way he was with her made Fox dislike Bay heavily.

Steven Spielberg Made Michael Bay Fire Megan Fox

When Michael Bay first heard about what Megan Fox had said, he was not as troubled. He seemed to be all okay with it. He even referred to the incident as a way for the actress to get a reaction out of the audience. The fact that Fox called Bay Hitler had not initially tampered with her career in the franchise.

It was even stated that the actress was not fired and instead chose not to return to the franchise on her own terms. Steven Spielberg had been producing Transformers. He was not okay with the comments Fox had made and even insisted on Bay firing the actress because of it. The end result of the entire debacle had been unfortunate for the actress as she never returned to the franchise again.
