John Stamos has been a significant name in television with his roles in General Hospital and Full House. Later he has been a part of many television shows that have contributed to his prominence. However, the audition for GH didn’t go well for him as he had to face humiliation for trying to mimic John Travolta.

Recently when the 60-year-old graced the set of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy FallonJohn Stamos revealed more details about his hilarious audition. He admitted that he didn’t know what a street urchin was- “I’ve never been to New York. I didn’t know what a street urchin was”. After discovering the true meaning of it from the library, he decided to sport his mother’s leather jacket and feathered hair to devise a walk for Blackie Parrish.

The audience was surprised when he got up and showed the walk that he devised after John Travolta. Unfortunately, when Jimmy Fallon asked if it worked for him, Stamos replied- “No, they said stop moving around so much just do the lines”. Check out the interview here:

As revealed in Stamos’ memoir If You Would Have Told Me, he was disturbed by a background commotion on the set of GH when Taylor visited the set to meet her close friend, Anthony Geary. Unknown of all that, John Stamos couldn’t hold back anymore and yelled- “Will someone get that old woman out of my eyeline!”
