When Ted Lasso season 3 ended, one question kept coming into everyone’s mind. Fans of the show have been curious to know whether season 4 will come or if it has already ended. Amidst these, Warner Bros. TV Group chairman Channing Dungey gives some positive updates for the fans.
During her chat with Variety, Dungey spoke about whether they are willing to bring back the series for a fourth season. The third season was disappointing to fans for the tedious episodes, poor characterization, bad plotting, and a general lack of focus.
Head of Warner Bros. TV Gives an Optimistic Update on Ted Lasso Season 4
The hit comedy-drama series Ted Lasso, starring Jason Sudeikis, has had three seasons to date. While many fans started thinking that it’s already done, Warner Bros. TV Group chairman Channing Dungey sheds light on the possibility of a season 4 of the beloved show.
While speaking with Variety, Dungey said that it still can happen.
“I mean, you watched the finale, there’s a little bit of a door that could be kicked back open if need be. I wouldn’t put the period on the end of that sentence just yet,” she stated.
“There is still a lot of love for Ted Lasso. And I think that there still is a lot of enthusiasm on the part of Apple for Ted Lasso. Should the opportunity arise, we’d be excited to jump back in to making more…. There are always conversations that are ongoing, just nothing that’s official.”
There’s no official confirmation about the fourth season. However, all these comments give a mere hint that probably one more season is on its way.

To Some Fans, Ted Lasso Season 3 Was Like Really Bad.
After two heart-warming and inspiring seasons, fans were left disappointed by the third season of Ted Lasso. Fans felt that the last episode was abruptly ended, which merely made any sense to the development of characters.
Season 3 had a lot of storylines, but there was no direction. It felt less focused. Whereas, the first two seasons had clear directions.
Ted Lasso, an Apple TV+ original series that debuted in 2020, follows the story of an American football coach who takes the helm of a struggling British soccer team, AFC Richmond. The show became a critical success apart from being a source of comfort and inspiration.
In the third season, it was seen that the main characters were pushed to the sidelines as the show tried to attempt to juggle numerous themes and thus lost its original charm. Also, making the season 3 episodes longer made it a bit tedious.
While seasons 1 and 2 have an audience score of 95% and 86% on Rotten Tomatoes, Ted Lasso‘s season 3 got a significantly low 78% audience score.
