There are numerous projects based on the heroes named after famous artists. Splintered Fate is the new roguelike based on these ninjas. Super Evil Megacorp took advantage of the latest Indie World showcase by Nintendo to reveal that Splintered Fate will be coming to Nintendo Switch.

This Roguelike will let players control every turtle with a new fearless fight against the Foot Clan, which, as always, has a really evil plan. This new IP’s idea is to harvest new powers to make each new run easier and has a new story co-written by TMNT author Tom Waltz and Super Evil Megacorp creative director Michael Johnson.

In this game, the turtles will explore various realities and dimensions in search of their kidnapped master, Splinter. Splintered Fate is a co-op roguelike and will give turtles new powers besides the classic weapons of these warriors; the Foot Clan has leveled up, and so will the turtles that will need these abilities for every run.

As always, every character will have its own style and function within the game. The title will make Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo have their unique fortitude; for example, the leader of the group will have more range than the other turtles.

Raphael will act like a tank, causing more damage than any of the other heroes. The idea behind this title is to balance the gameplay between every character and make every run different and efficient. The Nintendo Switch will release Splintered Fate sometime in July of this year.

I'm a big fan of movies and videogames in general. I really love Pokémon and Godzilla. One of my favorite games is The Last of Us, Part II. A compelling and well-written story is always welcome.
