Tekken 8 has been a craze of the media lately. It is officially the first Fighting game made in unreal engine 5, and the graphics show. There’s some new modes like ‘Arcade’ and a couple revamped modes as well. But, one of the newest revisions they’ve made to the game, is the character customization.

This isn’t the first time Tekken has given this option to players, but it is by far the best. Players have taken this mode, and ran with it. The ingenuity of gamers shows its peak by combining Tekken characters, and some of everyone’s favorite out-of-game icons.

Social media of late has been flooded with images and videos of Tekken characters, dressed as someone else. Tekken 8 gets detailed with customization. From hair color, masks, full head gear, glasses, nail color and eye color, and so many more things for players to tweak.

One user, dressed up Bryan as Walter White from Breaking Bad.  Another user, dressed Victor as a very convincing John Wick. Playing Ranked matches in Tekken 8 recently I’ve seen, and fought a few of these customized icons myself. Law, as Joker. Jack-8 as John Cena, and even Yoshimitsu as Shredder from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Series. Yoshimitsu and Shredder are similar.

They both fall into the ninja/samurai type of characters. This is just the start of some creations that fans have done. With new updates, many Tekken fans are hopeful that more customization options will be added.  The ideas are for these creative players are endless.

Tekken 8 Fans Creativity Holds No Hesitation to What They Can Make

Tekken fans have not stopped at just movies and television shows, other video games have also been thrown in to the mix. Jack-8 was made into Adam Smasher from Cyberpunk 2077. A very fitting idea as Adam Smasher is a man who got so many cybernetics, that he is now more robot than man.

Another awesome fan creation ironically turns Raven into Scorpion from the Mortal Kombat series. Raven and scorpion have similarities in the fact they’re both ninjas.

Tekken fans are getting more, and more wilder with creations. I personally have messed with the system and made a few myself. Raven modeled after Blade, the movie with the same name as it’s lead character, is one. Nina as Sonya Blade from Mortal Kombat is another. I am in no way, shape, or form, as skilled or creative as these players. Most of mine involves changing Kazuya’s pants from white to red, or changing the color of his gloves.

As a Tekken fan myself, I cannot wait to see more of what this amazing community comes up with. It definitely makes it more entertaining when you lose a ranked match to King dressed as Mario or Luigi. With Tekken 8 updates and maintenance finishing up today, who knows what is to come.

My name is Jacob, I’m from a small town in Ohio. You can normally find me grinding the new CoD, playing Tekken, and on my Quest 3, or breaking out the PS2. If I’m not on my playing something, I’m usually fishing or in the woods somewhere.
