The actor and his wife Christine Baumgartner have filed for divorce and are going their separate ways after being together for 18 years. Baumgartner, a former model and handbag designer, is Costner’s second wife who also shares 3 teenage children with the Bodyguard star.

Costner married Cindy Silva in 1978 but the marriage of 16 years did not stand the test of time. In one of Hollywood’s biggest cheating scandals, Silva decided to end her marriage to the Waterworld actor after alleged reports that Costner invited an exotic hula dancer to entertain him privately during a film shoot in Hawaii. The celebrity reportedly regretted his behavior and beseeched Silva to reconsider divorcing him. According to sources,

According to sources, Costner who is an integral part of the series Yellowstone, had a grueling schedule that did not allow him to spend quality family time with his wife and children. Baumgartner’s alleged ultimatum to Costner to leave the series in favor of his family was the straw that broke the camel’s back, so to speak. Meanwhile, pictures of Costner reportedly hugging two women before the official news of his separation is now throwing up rumors about his history with infidelity.
