The actor was spotted donning a cap that revealed more than needed to, fueling fans speculations on his return in Season 4.
Ackles plays Soldier Boy, a popular mascot for Vought American, who leads the superhero group, Payback. Therefore, after the viral snap rolled in on social media, fans perceived it as a spoiler that confirmed Ackles’ return in The Boys’s sequel season.

The 45-year-old actor’s multiple deaths as Dean Winchester in his former show Supernatural may have influenced the fans’ response to his character’s fate in The Boys.
