We have seen him play emotionally broken characters, we have seen him play emotionally absent characters, but now, we will witness Ryan Gosling as just a simple emotional character in his upcoming film, The Fall Guy. The movie has been a hot topic of conversation for the public since the release of its first trailer a couple of weeks back, and yet again, the movie finds itself in the spotlight.

In the new Super Bowl LVIII trailer commercial for his upcoming film, which also features English actress Emily Blunt alongside the Blade Runner 2049 star, we can see more of what to expect from the movie in the future with all the juicy bits packed into a hard-hitting minute of a preview. In the same trailer toward the end, we can see Gosling’s character sitting in his truck alone and listening to Taylor Swift‘s hit song, All Too Well, shedding tears as the music goes on.

When Blunt’s character approaches him and asks whether he was crying to Swift’s song just now, he replies, “Doesn’t everyone?” This has got the attention of the audience members, especially since this was a Super Bowl commercial, and since the Grammy Award winner has been frequenting NFL games recently to support her boyfriend Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs, the broadcast can often be seen turning the camera in her direction.

This has at least got the Swifties’ interest piqued, which will prove beneficial when the film finally releases.

The film is all set to test Gosling on every possible front relating to his skills as a dynamic actor as it packs anything and everything that the audience may ask for.

The film follows the tale of a stuntman named Colt Seavers, who left the film industry a year earlier to focus more on the maintenance of his physical and mental health. Just when he thinks he has got his life together, he’s pulled back into the game as a big Hollywood star has gone missing from the sets of the movie that his ex-girlfriend is directing, and he has to retrieve that actor.
