As The Game Awards 2023 come to an end, there are many games that stand out among the numerous titles that have been revealed. One of these games, which has been announced to be releasing in February, 2024 is Persona 3 Reload.
If you are a long-time fan of the series, you will be wondering how long it has been and what has been upgraded in Persona 3 Reload. This version will be a complete overhaul of the game, bringing its graphics and gameplay to the current standard that the Persona games are known for, rather than just a small remaster.
What Was Revealed During The Game Awards 2023 for Persona 3 Reload?
During The Game Awards 2023, we received a rather long trailer that showed us a lot of different aspects of the game, and many gamers who are familiar with the series are excited to see it make a return with such detail.
Throughout the title, players will be able to take part in the entire story that was available within the original Persona 3. They can take on a part-time job, complete activities with their companions to boost morale, and save the world from enemies lurking within the darkest hour.
So far, we do not know if there have been any improvements to issues that may have been active within the game’s original release. But, since this is a total rework of the game, it is highly likely outstanding problems with original version have been fixed or refined.
If you have been looking for the perfect moment to jump into the Persona franchise, then this is the opportunity for you. This may be one of the best moments in the franchise, as it allows players to jump in within one of the simpler storylines and easier mechanics to understand.
At the moment, the game is set for a February 2, 2024, release date and will most likely keep that date as the title is mainly a remaster of an original concept, rather than a completely new game.
Will We Be Getting Any Other Persona Remakes After the Persona 3 Reload?
Unfortunately, it is highly unlikely that we will be getting many more Persona remakes in the future, as the games that are set after Persona 3 are quite recent, and do not need a major overhaul of their graphics or gameplay.
However, some of the earlier games in the franchise do have potential, as they are very old and would be rather interesting to see in a modern-day setting. Sadly, this can prove to be quite a challenge, as P-Studio, the team behind the current Persona series, was not part of the first three games in the series, as this new team was created solely to work on the Persona series.
Since the development team is looking towards working on some of the classic Persona series games, there is a chance a future game could be in the pipeline within P-Studios. It has been a few years since we received a mainstream entry, and players are clearly looking forward to any Persona games that will be coming sometime in the future.
Even though players are looking forward to Persona 3 Reload and other upcoming games that could potentially be on their way, it may be unlikely for a long time. This is especially true if the developers focus on updating any of the other games in the franchise.
