Harrison Ford is known for Indiana Jones, Star Wars, and also his love of flying in his personal craft to the general audience. He has the image of a man who loves and thrives while adventuring. While Ford is probably all of those things, he’s also apparently someone who will share your grief with you.

“In his essence, Harrison Ford is the same person he was when I first met him. Impatient with the annoying sides of the great fame that had settled upon him, adult sycophancy, loss of privacy, etc., and yet immeasurably patient and kind to starstruck kids so excited to see their hero.”

But has he changed? Mirren thinks so because life happened to both of them and now she thinks Ford is more unguarded with his feelings.

“Then 30 years of amazing life happened to both of us, and now we are reconnected, and I find a person not guarded, unafraid of feelings…I think the element that makes him the legend that he… is that sense of being the kind of guy you would call when your car got stuck in a ditch and also completely understands why you were so upset about your cat dying and shed some tears with you.”

The legendary actress reiterated that the Airforce One star was a movie star through and through and just like millions of other people, she too admires him. But what does Ford think about his 1923 co-star who he is reuniting with after nearly 4 decades?

The Yellowstone prequel 1923 has already been renewed for season two. It will be interesting to see how the story progresses and if Mirren and Ford will reunite for another project in the future or not. But for now, it looks like Ford is busy saying goodbye to the $1.9 billion franchise that gave him name and fame with Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny.

1923 is streaming on Paramount Plus.
