Amazon Prime series The Boys completely changed the superhero landscape when it landed on our screens back in 2019. Vought and its superheroes gave the audiences a deep dive into what superheroes would be if there were no heroes, only supers. The Boys became an instant hit, with every cast member nailing their performance to what was some of the best writing on television.
But it’s not just the writing or the cast that makes the show so popular. Their marketing is also top-notch. The show’s marketing team comes up with really great ideas before every season, and now that season four is upon us, they have released their very own Superbowl ad, thanking the “real heroes” of America.
The Boys Thanks America’s “Real Heroes”
The Boys season 4 is set to premiere on Amazon Prime sometime soon this year. Though no release date has been announced by the creators of the show, speculation dictates it will start streaming on the OTT from late spring to early summer of 2024. And with the recent Superbowl craze, the show has released its very own “too patriotic” ad, as is the norm with the NFL bonanza.
Thanking the “real heroes” of America, the show’s marketing team has come up with yet another parody ad using the Turbo Rush energy drink. Alleging to “Freedom, Football, Family, Horses,” the ad is an extension of the show itself, which is a foil to the superhero genre. And fans of the show have clamored to socials to share what they think of this yet another on-brand ad.
Fans React to The Boys Recent Ad
The Vought Superbowl ad is very on-point for The Boys. Showcasing footage of the show’s superheroes like Homelander, A-Train, The Deep, Soldier Boy, and Queen Maeve, the ad salutes America’s “real heroes.” And fans took to X (formerly Twitter) to share exactly what they thought of this “love letter to AMERICA.”
I don’t think we’ve ever seen a show have this much marketing skills in a while.
The Boys marketing team is 10/10.

That sounds absolutely hilarious and totally on-brand for Vought, the fictional media company from The Boys. It's so funny to imagine what they might come up with for a commercial like that.
