As a member of a group of superheroes named Seven, The Miracle Season star impressed audiences across the world with her performance and held her own among other big actors like Karl Urban and Antony Starr. While Moriarty was a central figure in season 1 of Jessica Jones, The Boys gave the celebrity the space to explore the nuances of a complex character like Starlight.

In an interview with Screen Rant Plus, Moriarty elaborated on the evolution of her character and the changes that fans will witness in her in the upcoming season 4 of The Boys. The actor stated that she welcomed the challenges to explore the darker side of Starlight and felt grateful to be presented with the opportunity to do so.

“Part of the reason why I enjoy working on our show and this character is because it really isn’t black and white. It really is very complicated. It’s sad, it’s exploring the complicated, gray, dark sides of our own psyches. What I think the alleviation of that just brings forward things she was just taping to begin with, right. So once one thing is put away, another thing comes forward, potentially.”

Moriarty also added that Starlight was an inspiration to her as a person and hence made it easy for her mirror those admirable qualities of the character on screen.
