As players test out different shenanigans in Helldivers 2, one fan in particular has re-created an iconic scene from the original Iron Man released in 2008. Not only is this scene worthy of a thousand memes, but it also places Tony Stark as one of the most loved characters from the earlier MCU films.
As of late, Helldivers 2 has been able to create multiple scenarios where players have felt creative enough to re-create many scenes from movies and shows, including memories of their own where things went out of proportion and served as an experience curated by laughter.

User MrTLexify on Twitter was feeling particularly heroic the other day and managed to share a clip on Twitter where their squadmate acted out a memorable scene from Iron Man. This is the very scene where Tony Stark is standing in front of explosions designed to look cool.
In the game, this is likely a result of a seemingly well-planned explosion to keep the monsters away. If that was really ever the intention. From the looks of it, seems like the duo wanted to share Tony Stark’s glory as an exceptional engineer and the CEO of Stark Industries.

What makes for those hilarious moments of explosions as your friends fly off the radar can be credited to the game’s creative use of the Autodesk Stingray engine. Many consider this engine to almost be extinct, considering the relevance of Unreal Engine 5.
Nevertheless, the devs managed to mold the engine’s capabilities into something that’s a living example of how fun things can be, especially when they go wrong. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen a clip like this, and Twitter/Reddit is filled with examples of the same.
