If one goes about selling this sword to one of the vendors in the game, it can go for 1,000 runes. This makes it one of those weapons that has a very high selling price. But who goes around trying to sell a sword with a 0.5 drop rate?

Discovery in Elden Ring is a stat that determines the drop rate for players in a game. The more discovery they have, the easier it is for them to unlock unique weapons. For example, as mentioned above, Noble’s Slender Sword has a 0.5% drop rate for a player with 100 discovery.
To increase discovery players can do several things. First, they can invest points in Arcane. Discovery increases by 1 point with every Arcane level. Players can craft Silver-Pickled fowl foot to increase their discovery by 50 points for 3 minutes. Using the Silver Scarab Talisman increases a player’s discovery by 75 points for as long as they have it equipped.
