Another day, another teaser that the Elden Ring DLC, Shadow of the Erdtree, is coming as even more updates have been brought to the game’s SteamDB page, but this time it is seemingly more likely that the DLC is right around the corner.
Over the past few weeks, there have been a few different updates to the SteamDB page for Elden Ring, as many minor updates have been brought to the page. However, these updates have usually been unnamed and hidden from the community, so we do not know what has been updated, but this update has revealed some rather big secrets for the future of the game.
Elden Ring’s SteamDB Page Has Been Updated, and It Looks Like the Game’s Artbook and Soundtrack Have Been Updated Too.
According to the recent SteamDB page update for Elden Ring, there have been two files that have now been updated. One of these files is titled ‘SteamDB Unknown App 2778580‘, and the other is known as ‘ELDEN RING Digital Artbook and Original Soundtrack‘.
Thanks to this, we know that at least one of these updates will actually bring new content to a portion of the game. This is due to the fact that anytime a game’s artbook or soundtrack is updated, there will usually be new music and art for players to look at, which will be coming in a future update.
If Elden Ring follows suit with this general practice, then we have our first official confirmation that some kind of content will be coming to Elden Ring that will be providing new music, art work, enemy designs, and so much more.
This is a fantastic sign, as usually when it comes to a game update or DLC, music will be one of the last things to be included in a game as it usually won’t impact the game until the DLC is officially completed, which indicates that the DLC is at least completed and could be coming very soon.

Whether you are a part of the gaming community who feels the DLC will be coming soon or a part of the community who thinks we will still have to wait a few more months before we finally see some new content, we can all agree that this is a good sign at least.
Depending on your point of view, this could just be an overall update to the game files that has no impact on the actual game itself, but there are those who feel that this update is a pre-context for a release trailer that could potentially come on the game’s anniversary.
Whereas there are those who feel we won’t just receive a trailer on Elden Ring’s anniversary, but we could receive a shadow-dropped DLC that could release alongside a trailer. If these theories are right, there could be a lot of players rushing back to Elden Ring for one of the most anticipated DLC’s in a long time.
