“The Witcher” is a good fantasy series that opens for a larger story arc for many seasons to come. It is based on The Last Wish and Sword of Destiny, short stories that precede the main Witcher saga. The Witcher follows the story of Geralt of Rivia, a solitary monster hunt, who struggles to find his place in a world where people often prove more wicked than monsters and beasts.  What are Vilgefortz’s plans? :  Vilgefortz is the single most powerful character we see in the entire series. The battle of Sodden Hill proves Vilgefortz to be a traitor. Ciri was captured and imprisoned by Vilgefortz. Vilgefortz told her that, like many others, he wanted to use her blood, but unlike others, he didn’t plan to make a son with her but wanted to use the powers on himself, and Ciri wouldn’t need to be alive for it. He has a hidden agenda in the games, showing that he has strong bonding with Emperor Emhyr of Nilfgaard.

Emhyr married Pavetta, princess of Cintra what resulted in the birth of Ciri. The curse was lifted thanks to Geralt of Rivia. Ciri is Emhyrs actual daughter, and he wanted to marry her so that he could lay claim to Cintra’s throne.

Will Geralt ever forgive Yennefer?  : Geralt of Rivia is a magically enhanced monster hunter known as a witcher who possesses supernatural abilities due to his mutations. Yes, Geralt forgives Yennefer as the couple arguably called true soulmates. Ciri says the tale ends with Yennefer and Geralt getting married. A celebration ensued between all the different dead and living characters of the saga, and they live happily ever after.

 What is the Wild Hunt? : The Wild Hunt is called the Wraiths of Morhogg by the islanders of Skellige and known to their own as the Red Riders. The leader of the wild hunt is Eredin Breacc Glas. The Wild Hunt is known for kidnapping unsuspecting souls to join the ranks of their ghastly cavalcade. Geralt was also once a rider of The Wild Hunt. When riding, they wear skeletal armor to generate fear in any potential threats. The Wild Hunt wants Ciri because she will have a child with an elven king so that they can gain control over the Gate of the Worlds once again.
