Yes right, the Netflix series One Piece’s Taz Skylar is set to co-stay opposite Star Wars Daisy Ridley in James Bond’s director’s movie named Cleaner. Directed by Martin Campbell, the London-set-action-thriller is said to be released in 2024.

What is Martin Campbell’s Upcoming Movie Cleaner About?

Taz Skylar, who portrays Sanji in the Netflix series One Piece, is also involved in a movie he wrote and stars in, titled Gassed Up, set to premiere at the London Film Festival.

Skylar acted in Hamlet at the Young Vic with Cush Jumbo. He was in the BAFTA Nominated movie Boiling Point, which premiered at the London Film Festival and has been turned into a limited series for the BBC.

Now, he’s poised to take on a role in Martin Campbell’s Cleaner, scheduled for release in 2024.

This action flick is based on a group of activists who attack an energy company’s meeting at the Shard — a famous skyscraper in London. They hold 300 people hostage.

The group’s mission is taken over by an extremist who’s willing to kill in order to send a message. Joey Locke, a former soldier turned window cleaner (played by Ridley), steps in to rescue the hostages and make the corporation responsible.

This movie is produced by Greenland outfit Anton with Sebastien Raybaud and Callum Grant as producers.

When Will Cleaner Release?

It’s not certain how much of the film can be shot at the Shard, which is a popular tourist spot as well as a business location. However, according to the sources, we can assume the movie will be released in 2024.

As we already discussed Skylar who starred as Sanji in the hit Netflix series, One Piece, and Star Wars actress Ridley will be seen together in the film.

Currently, both are busy with their other scheduled movies. Skylar will soon be seen in the feature film Gassed Up – which he co-wrote. It is set to have its World Premiere at the London Film Festival this week.

Whereas Ridley’s forthcoming works include the thriller movies Magpie and The Marsh King’s Daughter and the biographical drama Young Woman and the Sea. The actress will also be returning as Rey in one of three new Star Wars movies.
