The Backstreet Boys have been one of the most celebrated boy bands in the world. While the Western music scene saw many rock and indie bands over the years, the concept of a boy band, churning out memorable pop bangers, proved to be fairly new. Their stylized and well choregraphed dances in their music videos and concerts draw audiences till today.

The Ambanis managed to bring someone as big as Rihanna for their previous pre-wedding celebrations, and now, with the Backstreet Boys, fans believe that the Ambani’s can do anything and bring anyone to performing for them.

Some One Direction fans commented on the video requesting the Ambani’s to bring them together. It remains to be seen if the Ambanis fulfill their wishes as the celebrations continue. The event was also a star studded own with many Bollywood celebrities in attendance. The couple is set to have a grand wedding on July 12 in Mumbai.

The Backstreet Boys Are Proud Of The Musical Era That They Are Associated With

The Backstreet Boys debuted their self-titled album in 1996 and were a part of other successful late 90s-early 2000s pop acts like NSYNC, Spice Girls, Westlife, Britney Spears etc. People have a certain affection for that era of music to this day, and the style of pop songs of that time are still being recreated.

AJ McLean told Time Magazine that the group is proud that they belong to this beloved era of music. Nick Carter further told the magazine that people miss the songs of that era and want to relive the nostalgic feeling of that time. The Backstreet Boys are fulfilling audiences’ desires with their music, and in this way, their fanbase is still going strong. They said,

We’re proud to come from an era of music that we feel is some of the best that ever came out. Late ’90s, early 2000s. I believe that people miss that era. I think they do want to relieve that nostalgic feeling. At the same time, [they want to] transcend with us, and that’s what we’re doing with them: growing with our fan base.

The band has released over 10 successful albums since their inception in 1993. Their most recent one was the Christmas album A Very Backstreet Christmas that was released in 2022. McLean has teased plans for a possible new album last year at the 90s-con panel (via People) amidst individual members pursuing their own solo projects.
