It is not easy being a princess, and Hailey Bailey has proved this fact while preparing for The Little Mermaid. The young actress had to build up her physique as she had to spend hours being suspended high in the air in front of a green screen to portray the charming Mermaid Ariel.

Her ruthless training included her working for hours almost every day of the week for eight months before the shooting started. Even during the shoot, she had to continuously hit the gym between takes to build up her body’s core strength.

Recently when certain pictures of Halle Bailey‘s extreme workout hit social media, fans hailed it as ‘The Avengers Level‘ workout. And this is how some of them reacted on Twitter.

With a splendid performance as a Disney princess, it would certainly be fun to see Bailey star as a Marvel character next, or as some fans say she would be a great Jean Grey or Storm.

Halle Bailey had to spend hours being suspended in the air with a single harness around the hips. This made it necessary for the actress to build up her core strength while also focusing on back exterior strength. Training for over 60 to 90 minutes, almost daily, before they started filming, she would have to spend hours on the Glute Ham Developer as it resembled the harness she was going to be shooting in.

Furthermore, another crucial part was training her neck muscles since she had to move like a mermaid while being on the rigs. Halle Bailey would have to be on the GHD with over 1.5 to 2.25 kilograms tied up on her neck and hold for 30-90 seconds for building up her neck muscles.

Well, Halle Bailey’s ruthless workout seems to have paid out seeing the popularity the movie has gained.
