Three decades later, the film will finally get a reboot starring Bill Skarsgård as the central protagonist along with British singer-songwriter FKA Twigs who will play his fiancée. A rapidly rising star, Twigs is also someone who has a unique and alternative outlook on many aspects of life that she recently shared with audiences in an interview.

The British celebrity will now showcase her acting skills in The Crow Reboot starring Bill Skarsgård, who will take on the late Brandon Lee’s role.

The film which is set to release in June 2024, will see the former dancer playing the role of Skarsgård‘s dead fiancée. A celebrity with a very distinctive style when it comes to fashion choices, music, and opinions, Twigs in a recent interview with Vogue, revealed an interesting aspect of her personality to audiences.

The singer confessed that she had a special relationship with most of her prized possessions in her home including collectibles from different parts of the world. Stating that she enjoyed communicating with her art pieces, the artist elaborated on two snake artifacts and how she decided on their permanent place in her home.

The snakes, for example – originally I wanted them on the mantelpiece but they didn’t like it there. So I asked them, ‘Where do you want to be?’ They protect the house. I call them Serendipity and Infinity.”

With a unique take on life coupled with an imaginative and creative mind which also reflects in her music, it will be interesting to see how the talented star approaches acting in her role in The Crow.

Lionsgate Films Will Keep The Legacy Of The Crow Alive

The Crow reboot starring Bill Skarsgård as the titular protagonist made famous by Brandon Lee, will release on June 7th, 2024. Distributed by Lionsgate Films, the movie also features the ensemble cast of Laura Birn, Sami Bouajila, Jordan Bolger, and FKA Twigs.

While the surprise announcement of its release this summer has baffled many people, Lionsgate Films believes that the reboot will do everything to honor the legacy of the 1994 original.

In a statement that appeared in Deadline, the company’s EVP of Acquisitions and Co-Productions Charlotte Koh was clear about the path that the platform will take regarding the film.

“We appreciate what the Crow character and original movie mean to legions of fans and believe this new film will offer audiences an authentic and visceral reinterpretation of its emotional power and mythology.”

Koh also went on to add that Lionsgate Films had full faith in director Rupert Sanders and his unique vision for the reboot while keeping the ethos of the original film intact.

The Crow releases in theaters on June 7th, 2024.
