In a report from TMZ, the outlet shared that Shiloh Jolie-Pitt spent her special day working to legally change her name and to become simply Shiloh Jolie.
Shiloh Jolie-Pitt – who just turned 18 a few days ago on May 27 – filed paperwork requesting a legal name change specifically dropping the ‘Pitt’ from her last name and making her new name simply ‘Shiloh Jolie.’
A source expressed how “heartbreaking” it was to see the young star distance herself from her father after the controversy that happened between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. “The implication is that they want nothing to do with Brad.”
An insider told Daily Mail that the Maleficent star has been making sure her children have limited interaction with their father. “It is still that way with the underage ones, but with Shiloh, that is no longer Angie’s choice,” explained the source. “If Shiloh chooses to have limited contact with her dad, that is her decision,” they added.
Now that Shiloh has turned 18, she can now decide for herself if she still wants to have communication with her father and repair the damages.
