When Daredevil: Born Again was announced for Disney+, many fans were skeptical that Disney wouldn’t be able to recreate the magic of the Netflix shows. Initially, the series was not looking pleasing as it was planned as a legal TV drama. However, after Marvel executives looked at what the previous team did, they decided to give the show a new direction and bring in a new team.

At first, Dario Scardapane, writer of Netflix’s The Punisher, was brought to work in the show along with Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead, the directors of Loki Season 2. Now, The Hollywood Reporter states that the stunt and fight coordinator, Philip Silvera, who worked in Netflix’s Daredevil, will also work as stunt coordinator and second unit director in the new Disney+ series.

Although Charlie Cox‘s appearance as Daredevil was the only good thing in Disney+’s She-Hulk show, the fans were not so happy with his action sequence. Something similar also happened with the Man Without Fear’s appearance in the recent Echo series. However, the fans are overjoyed with the comeback of Philip Silvera as they expect to witness the magic of OG Daredevil action again in the MCU.

The fans cannot stop praising the creative changes done in the show to make it a true successor to the Netflix shows instead of Disneyfying anything.

The earlier seasons of Daredevil, She-Hulk, and Echo can be streamed on Disney+, while Daredevil: Born Again is slated for a January 2025 release.
