After Marvel Studios changed its creative team, Charlie Cox’s Daredevil: Born Again has experienced many positive changes and updates. Now, there is another good news about the show, as Daredevil: Born Again is all set to bring back the OG stunt and fight coordinator Philip Silvera, who did a commendable job in the Netflix show.
The fans were very excited as Charlie Cox’s superhero is all set to get his show following his appearances in She-Hulk and Echo. However, one of the primary complaints from both series was that the stunt and fight sequences did not impress the fans as much as the Netflix shows. With the recent update, the fans are overjoyed as they expect to experience the magic of Daredevil’s iconic action set pieces again.
Charlie Cox will return in his iconic action avatar in Daredevil: Born Again
When Daredevil: Born Again was announced for Disney+, many fans were skeptical that Disney wouldn’t be able to recreate the magic of the Netflix shows. Initially, the series was not looking pleasing as it was planned as a legal TV drama. However, after Marvel executives looked at what the previous team did, they decided to give the show a new direction and bring in a new team.
At first, Dario Scardapane, writer of Netflix’s The Punisher, was brought to work in the show along with Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead, the directors of Loki Season 2. Now, The Hollywood Reporter states that the stunt and fight coordinator, Philip Silvera, who worked in Netflix’s Daredevil, will also work as stunt coordinator and second unit director in the new Disney+ series.
Although Charlie Cox‘s appearance as Daredevil was the only good thing in Disney+’s She-Hulk show, the fans were not so happy with his action sequence. Something similar also happened with the Man Without Fear’s appearance in the recent Echo series. However, the fans are overjoyed with the comeback of Philip Silvera as they expect to witness the magic of OG Daredevil action again in the MCU.
The fans are excited to get the OG Daredevil action back
The Netflix Daredevil show featured some of the most incredible action set pieces seen in TV shows. The Charlie Cox fans still helm the Hallway fight scene as one of the most remarkable Marvel action sequences.
We have collected some tweets to show how the fans are celebrating Philip Silvera’s Marvel comeback with Daredevil: Born Again.

Everyone who watched Daredevil knows "the hallway scene" and "the prisok scene" and they're some of the best uncut shots and choreography in any genre. I'm getting super excited now.
