Dakota Johnson previously talked about her involvement in Sony’s Madame Web and admitted that this project was a breather for her. She has never done any superhero roles before, and fans are clearly excited to see what she is going to offer. The actress told Variety:

It was a wild experience. I don’t think you can be prepped to go into anything like that, but I learned so much. It’s a completely different way of making films, you know.”

The cast also includes Sydney Sweeney, Celeste O’Connor, Isabela Merced, Emma Roberts, Tahar Rahim, and Zosia Mamet. The latest report from the Norwegian ticketing company website FilmWeb claims that the movie will run for 1 hour and 56 minutes (or 116 mins).

While many rumors and theories are plaguing the internet, one of the most famous ones involving Madame Web’s plot would follow a Terminator-like story where Cassandra Webb would prevent a time-traveling villain from killing Mary Parker and her unborn son Peter.

Marvel and Sony have yet to confirm these rumors, but the image features from the clips uploaded online saw Johnson and Scott in Emergency Medical Technician uniforms, so everything is possible.

Madame Web will arrive in theaters on February 16, 2024.
