Tatiana Maslany’s She-Hulk series is infamous among Marvel fans for several reasons. Starting from devastating CGI to a weak plot, the fans had uncountable complaints about the show. However, everyone was shocked when it was revealed that the show was made on a budget of $225 million. Even the first Avengers film had a lower production cost of an estimated $220 million with an outcome far better.
Recently, Tatiana Maslany gave an insight into Jennifer Walters’ future in the MCU. The actress revealed that the studio is quite skeptical about a second season for the show. With a budget of $225 million, the first season brought a horde of criticism, and it does not look like the MCU wants to do it again.
She-Hulk’s budget exceeds several praiseworthy MCU projects
Following Avengers: Endgame, the Marvel Cinematic Universe did not see a pleasing time with its projects. One of the most recurring issues with the projects has been their CGI. Thor: Love and Thunder, Ant-Man & the Wasp: Quantumania, The Marvels, and She-Hulk, every project looked poor in the visual department.
Even the existing Iron Man films looked better than the Tatiana Maslany show. Not only She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, but Secret Invasion also went a little too much and had a budget of $212 million. It must be noted that the budget is not the problem but the output, and it can be undoubtedly said that both She-Hulk and Secret Invasion’s CGI are outright disastrous.
Surprisingly, 2012’s The Avengers also had an estimated budget of $220 million. While the $225 million She-Hulk is subjected to intense criticism, the first Avengers film is considered legendary. The recently released Disney+’s Loki Season 2 also had a budget of $141.3 million and was critically praised by the fans.
Although there were countable positive aspects for the Tatiana Maslany-led show, including the Daredevil cameo and the “Meta” season finale, they were not enough to save the show. The comparison between the budget of She-Hulk and The Avengers has caused the fans to call the project an embarrassment.
The fans did not show any mercy to the show
The internet is filled with reactions from merciless fans who cannot even think about a single reason to love the show. Despite some positive reviews by fans, the audience left no chance to bash it. Although some fans have mentioned that it is wrong to compare a TV series to a film, still most of them agree that She-Hulk suffers from uncountable reasons.
Let us take a look at some of the tweets:

What a great waste of money in comparison

Absolutely crazy. Hard to believe there is a 10 year difference between release dates and the Avengers CGI looks 10x better. How the hell did they go from making Thanos look so real to making She-Hulk look super fake.
