While the first season splattered the Invincible logo with blood as the episodes progressed, symbolizing the lies and the violence that Mark is going to face going forward, Season 2 sees the title crack and chip, revealing a black and blue version of it, which super-fans know does not bode well for the enemies of Invincible.
Coming to the Season 2 finale, Mark will most probably switch his suit colors to the second iteration of his outfit, one that Art makes for him because the first suit has ‘too many colors’. In addition to the color switch, which will be black and blue, the suit will also no longer have knee and elbow pads, given that it makes no sense for someone called Invincible to wear so much protective gear.

The black and blue suit indicates the new, more ruthless era that Invincible will find himself in going forward. This suit represents more than a mere costume change, reflecting the edgy sensibilities of the 90s, which saw a lot of comic characters take on darker personas to pander to the market.
Similarly, Invincible’s story is going to become infinitely darker here, such that he is going to inflict a lot of pain and have a lot of pain inflicted on him. Fans are aware of this and are hyped to see the damage that Mark is going to dish out in the coming episodes of Invincible.

Tonally, Mark’s personality is going to be reflective of a very dark time in his life. While this does not mean that good things are not going to come his way, it is definitely going to be a hard road ahead for Mark, one that is going to leave the character traumatized at the other end of it.
Mark really will enter his ‘Super Saiyan 2’ era
Ever since the show began airing, Invincible has found itself being compared to Dragon Ball Z. With the Viltrumites being labeled as Kryptonian-Saiyan hybrids by a host of fans, it is easy to see how Mark could get equated with Gohan or Trunks, having a personality similar to them. Even Omni-Man has been directly equated to Vegeta, rather than Superman, who he is a direct expy of.
Given the number of things that have gone wrong in Episode 7, with Mark and Amber breaking up, Mark losing to Anissa, and Mark receiving a call from Armstrong Levy (who is currently holding Oliver and Debby hostage). It is safe to say that now is not the time to mess with Mark as Armstrong will probably find out next episode. The character is in a very dark place, emotionally speaking. The only silver lining is that the next episode might see Allen the Alien put his grand plan to break out of the Viltrum prison and set things into motion for Season 3.
