Not only does he look huge in the leaked images and footage, but even his physical features look identical to the Man of Steel before him.
This comes after new images and footage went viral on the internet featuring everything about Corenswet’s body that he had been trying to hide for the past few months with his baggy clothes and constant cap-on-head. And the best part? Looking at all these updates, it seems like James Gunn has found the perfect replacement for Henry Cavill for his version of the DC Universe!

For quite some time now, Corenswet had been running around in baggy clothes and his constant caps, seemingly trying to hide his physique and hair that he transformed for his first-ever superhero movie for the DC Universe. Not that it hid the fact that he had bulked up, but it still kept the details hidden, and fans were annoyed at this fact.
But not anymore. Although he himself hasn’t shared any updates on his physical transformation, David Corenswet was recently spotted shooting in Mexico by fans, and he has been viral on the internet ever since. Why? Because instead of sporting his usual attire, he was seen in a tank top and shorts, giving away his entire physique.
As can be seen in the thread of tweets posted by @DCU_Updates on X, the Pearl star has undergone a brutal physical transformation to play the next Clark Kent in the DCU reboot, judging from how incredibly broad his chest and shoulders have become, along with his bulging biceps, ripped thighs, and even black hair! What’s more is that not only does his hairstyle look a lot similar to that of Henry Cavill, but even his facial features and bulging biceps seem to look exactly as Cavill’s did when he played the respective superhero. Well, Henry Cavill or not, all of these updates have made one thing more evident than ever: David Corenswet was born to play this character, and the glorious transformation he has undergone for this one role speaks volumes about it, along with his dedication to this character and winning fans’ hearts back.
