After his performances dripping with brilliance across all the other genres, David Corenswet has finally jumped into the superhero league. Through the lead role in the upcoming Superman — the film that will mark the start of James Gunn’s true reign in a total reboot of the DC Universe — he has increased his fan following too. But lately, fans aren’t all too pleased with him.
The reason behind this is quite simple: Corenswet just won’t let them see his hair or physique. In fact, the Hollywood heartthrob desperately trying to keep his hair and physique for his upcoming project with Gunn a secret has gone to such an extent, that now even the fans of the superhero franchise can’t help but express their exasperation at this!
David Corenswet Has Gone Into Peak Hiding Mode for His Hair and Body
David Corenswet‘s social media handles pretty much consist of basically him promoting his upcoming movies and projects. Thus, they don’t give away any updates on his physical appearance except for what he will look like next, on screen. This is why fans resorted to seeing him at other events to keep updated on his transformation for Superman.
Yet, much to their disappointment, The Politician star is a bit too extra-cautious and one step ahead of them. This comes after images of him promoting his newly released movie, The Greatest Hits, at a press event, surfaced online. And as annoying as it may be, he was once again clad head-to-toe in clothing that would not reveal anything about his physical transformation.
In the photo shared by @DCU_Updates on X, Corenswet was seen happily posing with his co-stars from The Greatest Hits, sporting a zip-up hoodie with the hood pulled up over the cap resting on the top of his head.

Comparatively, co-stars were all wearing different outfits, though none had any piece of clothing on that could hide their physique and hair like Corenswet. That being said, fans were sad to know that they couldn’t even catch a glimpse of how he had transformed for his superhero role.
What’s worse is that this sadness and disappointment came with another level of desperation, for all of those DC fans know for sure that he has truly bulked up for his superhero role, but they can’t see how his physique actually looks now, apart from over his mostly-baggy clothes.
Thus, aggravated fans have taken to the internet to finally let their feelings known.
Fans Aren’t Happy with David Corenswet’s Extreme Secrecy of His Physical Appearance
While fans were trying to control their feelings before, these recent photos have only further fueled their aggravation on just why they can’t see Corenswet’s physical appearance. And while many of them do acknowledge that his contract must not allow him permission for the same, they still wish they could know more to sustain their over-peaking curiosity.

Well, one thing’s for sure: David Corenswet is most certainly doing an epic job at being as secretive about his transformation for his first superhero project, we’ll give him that. But James Gunn, too, needs to do something to quip fans’ parchment from not being able to know more about how they could see Corenswet in the role!
Superman is set for a release date of the 11th of July, 2025.
