Lex Luthor once said “If man won’t kill God, the Devil will do it!” in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Well, the sentence seems extremely true for David Corenswet and James Gunn as Superman’s suit for James Gunn’s upcoming Superman was revealed moments ago.

Zack Snyder, the former director at DCEU was known for his iconic costumes and suits and it seems that the devil is indeed trying to kill god. Having butchered Superman’s suit, here’s what people have to say after seeing the symbol of hope on Corenswet’s costume!

No, we are not talking about the suit again. This time, it’s about what the story of Superman will be. With James Gunn set as director of the film and David Corenswet as the new Superman, fans are a bit concerned about the upcoming film.

As per a report by The Direct, there are potentially five Justice League members who will make their appearance in Superman. Fans stated that Gunn was rushing things with too many characters and too little plot and hence, Superman was bound to fail. Taking to their social media, people talked about how the same fans who insulted Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice for being too chaotic, would praise Gunn’s Superman.

And with the reveal of the suit, it seems that Gunn may have found himself in a bit of a pickle. With conflicting reports and controversies, James Gunn’s Superman is set for a release date of 11 July 2025 in theaters across the U.S.
