The new Thor: Love & Thunder trailer has finally hit the internet and it is all the rage around town right now. We see a lot more of Love & Thunder than what the previous teaser had shown us. Natalie Portman’s buffed up Jane Foster Thor was the talk of the town back then. Now Christian Bale’s Gorr is the highlight of the new trailer. We see his iconic Necrosword in action. But that does not mean the trailer takes anything away from Jane Foster Thor. In fact, the Thor: Love & Thunder trailer reveals Jane Foster Thor has an all new Mjolnir Ability not even Thor possessed back in the day. What is this new Mjolnir ability that Jane Foster Thor has unlocked that has got the fans all riled up?

All Hail Gorr – Christian Bale’s First Look As The God Butcher
Gorr the God Butcher, in the comics, was a lowly being from a nameless planet. he lived in perpetual poverty in a world wrought with famine and drought. But he believed in the Gods and expected them to save him from his predicament. But when that did not happen, Gorr swore vengeance against all Godhood for abandoning him. He comes into the possession of the Necrosword – the All Black. A weapon forged out of literal darkness and powered by a dead celestial, the Necrosword gave Gorr divine abilities he swore to use to defeat the Gods.
In Thor: Love & Thunder trailer, we see Christian Bale sport a very different look as Gorr the God Butcher. Gone are the tentacles and the signature facial features (MCU Gorr possesses a nose, a Marvel Comic accurate Gorr doesn’t). Christian Bale’s Gorr also possesses a weapon that looks very different from the Necrosword. Something looks fishy to be honest. Is MCU trying to throw us another comic book inaccurate jugular after Thor: Ragnarok?
Jane Foster Thor & Her All New Mjolnir Ability
The new Thor” Love & Thunder trailer gives us a closer look at Jane Foster Thor. Natalie Portman could become as tiny as a speckle or as huge as a mountain but she would still win our hearts every time. The new Love & Thunder trailer makes her the new Goddess of Thunder. She looks buffed up and ready for action. As Thor and his group make it to Olympus, the trailer shows they are forced into a corner by the Olympians, who clearly do not trust these strangers.
This is when Jane Foster Thor shows her all new Mjolnir ability. She throws Mjolnir at the guards. But Mjolnir doesn’t strike them one by one. Instead, it breaks into tiny pieces and hits everyone at the same time like a shrapnel bomb. The pieces then return back to form the Mjolnir again and the hammer returns to Jane Foster Thor’s hand. This is one ability we never saw Thor use. That is probably because Mjolnir was never broken into pieces until Thor met Hela in battle.
The repaired Mjolnir is held together by some mysterious blue energy that fans believe is the primordial God Tempest.
We still don’t know how Jane Foster becomes Thor but this new Mjolnir ability, where the hammer breaks apart into multiple guided missile like projectile sure is a very handy ability in battle. It has massive area of effect and crowd control advantages that Jane Foster Thor could make use of in her fight against Gorr.
Thor 4 Will Give Us Jane Foster Thor vs. Gorr Fight
The way they have been hyping up Natalie Portman’s Jane Foster Thor, it is quite evident why they gave her this new Mjolnir ability. Taika Waititi is about give us a fight between Jane Foster Thor and Gorr the God Butcher. And this new ability has has unlocked will probably come into play.
