Currently, it looks like the villains have the upper hand, it might soon change in the future. While most of the Jujutsu sorcerers are putting their lives on the line to eradicate the greater evil known as Kenjaku, one of the sorcerers seems to be missing from the action. The missing sorcerer is Toge Inumaki, who seems to have vanished from Jujutsu Kaisen after the Shibuya incident arc commenced.

Toge Inumaki is one of the most beloved characters in Jujutsu Kaisen and is a second-year student at Jujutsu High in Tokyo. His family specializes in the Cursed Speech Technique, so he only speaks a few selected words to avoid any kind of casualty to his friends. He had a major supporting role in Jujutsu Kaisen 0 movie and season 1. But since the start of the Shibuya Incident Arc, he seems to have vanished.

The last time he was seen in the anime, he was helping the civilians to evacuate to avoid getting caught in between Jujutsu fights. After that, there was no mention of him. Fans are starting to think he might have suffered the same fate as Nanami Kento and Kugisaki Nobara. But that is not the case since he reappeared in the manga in chapter 220. The only surprise in store is that his right hand was missing.

It was later confirmed that during the battle between Ryomen Sukuna and Mahoraga, he got caught in Sukuna’s Domain Expansion: Malevolent Shrine. One of the innumerable slashes took off his arm. Considering that Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 will end in chapter 137, it will be long since Toge Inumaki reappears.

Even though he will most likely miss season 3, he will be one of the most crucial characters behind the camera.

He will help the civilians evacuate, and when Yuta Okkotsu tries to execute Yuji Itadori, he will be the one to make him understand that Yuji is going through the same thing that he did when he joined Jujutsu High. Later, he and all of his Jujutsu High will break Satoru Gojo’s seal. So, overall, he still remains an important character even though he is not present in front of the camera.

Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 is now streaming on Crunchyroll.
