Tom Holland has been slowly diversifying himself as an actor in the recent few years, challenging and showing his versatility as an actor. The actor seems to be finding a balance between big studio commercial films and smaller character-driven cinema. While he already has a potential new franchise with Uncharted, a new rumor about another potential IP may turn out to be perfect with Holland as the lead.

Tom Holland Is Perfect for The Rumored Danny Phantom Film
Tom Holland most recently committed to his darkest role in his entire career through Danny Sullivan in the Apple TV+ series The Crowded Room. Holland completely immersed himself in a complex character who has Dissociative Identity Disorder. Holland has been open about how the role demanded a lot from him and how it left him exhausted by the end.
There is one project that will be a palate cleanser for the actor and one which he would be perfect for. According to Daniel Richtman (via Screen Time), Paramount is developing a live-action adaptation of the much beloved Danny Phantom show. If this turns out to be true, Holland should at least be in the running to play the part.
The project will be another superhero-esque project that will be different than his portrayal of Spider-Man. While the character in the show is a teenager, the makers can age him up and reshape the narrative accordingly. For now, It remains to be seen whether this report from the popular scooper turns out to be true.
Tom Holland is Ready for The Next Chapter of his Acting Career
Tom Holland recently made an appearance at the Critics Choice Awards where he was nominated for Best Actor in a Limited Series for The Crowded Room. While talking to Entertainment Tonight, the actor expressed his gratitude at being recognized by critics for his work and is looking forward to more challenging work in the future.
He told ET that he is ready to take a new step in his acting career as he is way past his beginning phase as an actor. He revealed that he is now creatively driven more than ever before to try out some new things and expressed his excitement for things coming up in the future. He said,
“It’s definitely the next chapter. I think the beginning of my career is sort of coming to a close. We’re sort of coming to this next step, I’m very excited. I feel very creatively driven to do some new things and push myself in ways I didn’t think I could. There’s a few things under the radar but I’ll have to keep those to myself for now. I feel very secure and happy, I’m enjoying life.”
Holland is ready for another challenge as he is set to portray the legendary Fred Astaire in a biopic directed by Paul King. He will also be coming back for more Uncharted and Spider-Man films down the line.
