As per the Comic Book Movie, Steven Yeun was cast as the original choice for the role of Robert Reynolds, aka Sentry in Thunderbolts*. However, the actor soon dropped out of the role because of scheduling issues, which eventually led Marvel to allegedly hire Lewis Pullman. But despite the upcoming film already making its way into Pullman’s filmography, the actor could not confirm or deny playing Sentry.
Marvel Studios has yet to confirm Pullman’s involvement, but the actor’s evasive answer has only heightened anticipation among fans.
